Arcade Floor ownership

Explore the world, buy a plot, or take one over with Tickets and $CADE.

One arcade, 80 plots

The Arcade Floor is one continuous isometric world. Streets connect the Blockfall, Gas Runner, Circle of Death and Depeg districts around a central arcade portal. Game names are painted on the floor alongside the district pathways. Each game has 20 distinct plots, giving 80 initially, with room for future games.

Drag to pan, scroll or pinch to zoom, and use the district menu or minimap to move around. With the map focused, arrow keys or W A S D move the view; + and − zoom, and Home returns to the overview. Select a numbered plot for its owner’s username, associated game, revenue share, price and available actions.

A plot has one owner, and a wallet can own multiple plots. All 80 plots use an identical visual footprint. Their positions, prices and revenue weights differ; a larger revenue weight does not mean a larger area on the map. Their appearance and name cannot be customised by the owner.

Plot prices and weights

Available plots are buy now, with a fixed initial $CADE price plus a Ticket cost. Each game uses plot numbers 1–20 with matching revenue weights. Plot 20 has 20 times the revenue weight of plot 1, and the twenty weights total 210. Their visual footprints are identical.

The table’s revenue percentage is 75% × plot weight ÷ 210 of its game’s gross paid-play revenue, subject to ownership time and daily activity. The same weights divide that game’s allocated creator-fee pool. With four games, a plot’s share of all collected creator fees is 25% × plot weight ÷ 210. Plot 20 receives approximately 2.381% of all creator fees; plot 1 receives approximately 0.119%, before activity, ownership time and rounding. These weights follow the original price tier, not a later resale or steal price. Displayed percentages are rounded; the underlying weights total exactly 210.

Initial purchase Tickets are consumed and the $CADE payment goes to the treasury. Plots have no expiry and inactivity alone does not remove ownership. They remain subject to resale, direct transfer and the steal rule below.

Buying with your wallet

Review the plot, both costs and the current owner before confirming. A first purchase or steal reserves the required Tickets for a ten-minute quote. Reserved Tickets are unavailable for another purchase while that quote can still be used.

Your wallet may first ask for approval to spend the displayed $CADE amount through the deployed Arcade Floor contract. You then confirm the purchase or takeover transaction. An approval alone does not buy a plot; it is separate from your login signature. Network fees are shown by your wallet.

A confirmed matching transaction consumes the Tickets and establishes onchain ownership. If the quote is not used, its Tickets return after expiry and the unused status has been checked. A changed owner or price requires a fresh quote. Purchases remain unavailable while the actual token or floor contract is unconfigured.

Steal a plot

Any other player can take over an owned plot without the owner’s approval by paying twice its last paid $CADE price and twice its current Ticket basis. The Ticket basis starts at its initial Ticket cost and updates to the amount spent on each steal. This is a buy-now takeover, not an auction.

The $CADE goes to the treasury, not the previous owner. Tickets are consumed, the resale listing is removed, and ownership plus all unclaimed earnings move to the buyer. The previous owner receives no compensation from the takeover payment.

For plot 1, successive purchases work like this:

Purchase$CADE paidTickets spentNext steal costs
Initial purchase250,000100500,000 $CADE + 200 Tickets
First steal500,0002001,000,000 $CADE + 400 Tickets
Second steal1,000,0004002,000,000 $CADE + 800 Tickets

Each steal sets both bases to the amounts just paid, so the next steal doubles them again. A voluntary resale can change the $CADE basis separately. The plot panel shows the current amounts before confirmation; changed ownership or prices require reviewing a new quote.

The buyer must meet the associated-game activity rule using their own completed run that UK day. A run they completed earlier the same day already counts; the former owner’s activity does not transfer. Buying or stealing does not create a completed run.

Resale and direct transfers

An owner can list a plot at a positive, whole-token $CADE price. A completed resale pays $CADE to the seller and charges no additional Tickets. The actual sale price becomes the new $CADE basis, while the current Ticket basis stays unchanged. A listing alone does not change either basis or prevent a steal.

For example, after plot 1’s first steal, its bases are 500,000 $CADE and 200 Tickets. If its owner then resells it for 300,000 $CADE, the next steal costs 600,000 $CADE and 400 Tickets. A resale can lower or raise the next $CADE takeover price.

Owners can also transfer directly to another wallet. The recipient can connect and choose a username to use their ARCade account. Direct transfers carry both cost bases unchanged. Every ownership change clears any resale listing and moves all unclaimed earnings, including eligible revenue still awaiting daily settlement and claims awaiting payment.

Existing claimable earnings can be requested by the new owner even while inactive. Their own daily game activity controls further revenue. See Earnings when ownership changes.

Revenue for each game

75% of each game’s paid-play revenue is allocated to its plots. Separately, 100% of creator fees is split evenly between the four game pools. Unowned and inactive allocations remain in the treasury.

Read the funding amounts and ownership-time calculations.

Play daily to activate earnings

Complete one valid run of the associated game in each UK day to activate all your plots in that game for the day. A run completed earlier that day counts for newly acquired plots. Free and purchased runs qualify when they last at least two active seconds, achieve a positive score and are verified during play.

Activity does not create revenue before you owned the plot. See daily activity and ownership time for the full rules.

Daily earnings and claims

Earnings are calculated after each UK day closes and accumulate on the plot. Its current owner can request a claim, which goes to an administrator for approval and payment. Inactivity does not remove existing claimable earnings.

All unclaimed accrual and unpaid claim requests travel with a sale, transfer or steal. Amounts vary with actual revenue; no income or return is guaranteed. Read the claim and settlement rules.

Treasury and launch configuration

Initial purchases and steals send $CADE to the treasury. Voluntary resale payments go to the seller. These are separate from game-revenue allocations.
