The $CADE token

The token used alongside earned Tickets to buy Arcade Floor plots.

Token utility

$CADE is ARCade’s official token. Combine $CADE with earned Tickets to buy an available plot. Initial plot payments and steal payments go to the treasury, while the Ticket portion is consumed. Another player can take over an owned plot without permission by paying its displayed steal price.

Owners can resell their plots for an owner-set $CADE price. Tickets are not charged again on resale. Holding $CADE does not increase free-play allowances or change the 5 USDC price for five additional plays.

Tickets and $CADE

Tickets are account-bound game points earned through completed runs and leaderboard placements. $CADE is the project token used to purchase plots. A player needs both for an initial plot purchase or a steal. A voluntary resale requires $CADE but no additional Tickets.

Tickets accumulate and do not expire. They cannot be transferred or directly converted into $CADE or USDC. Plot earnings are paid in USDC under the revenue and activity rules.

Distribution and allocations

The token has a planned public launch through a launchpad and a total supply of one billion. Leaderboard token airdrops are no longer part of the current reward model.

Revenue allocation

Plot owners qualify for 75% of their associated game’s paid-play revenue and an equal share between games of 100% of collected creator fees. An individual plot’s weight and its owner’s daily game activity determine the allocation. The remaining revenue stays in the treasury.

See Revenue & claims for the full allocation and settlement rules, and Arcade Floor ownership for purchases and takeovers.
